You do not choose a cream on texture alone, but on scent too. After all, you smell it every morning and every evening. Which tallow cream scent suits you? In this guide we line up all our creams, from tropical and sweet to completely fragrance-free.

Why scent matters

For many people, applying a cream is a small moment for themselves. A scent you love makes that moment a little nicer. Some people like something fresh in the morning, others something soft in the evening. And some people would rather smell nothing at all.

Good to know: not all our creams get their scent in the same way. The Original contains fragrance and tiaré flower. The Coconut gets its scent from coconut fruit extract. Rose Blossom, Orange Passion and Velvet Lavender smell of the essential oils they contain. And The Natural is fragrance-free.

Which tallow cream scent suits you?

All the creams below come in 60 ml and cost €24.95. The base is always tallow, whipped into a light cream.

The Original: tropical tiaré

The Original - Day Cream is our classic. Its tropical tiaré scent brings summer and holidays to mind. It contains grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, tiaré flower, vitamin E and fragrance. Lovely if you enjoy a warm, distinctive scent.

The Coconut: creamy coconut

The Coconut - Day Cream has a soft, creamy coconut scent. Its ingredients: tallow, MCT oil from coconut, coconut fruit extract and vitamin E. A cosy, gentle scent for coconut lovers who do not want it too sweet.

Rose Blossom: softly floral

Rose Blossom - Day Cream has a soft floral scent thanks to essential oils. It contains tallow, MCT oil, Dalbergia Sissoo wood oil, rose geranium leaf oil and vitamin E. Beautiful if you love flowers but are not looking for a heavy perfume.

Orange Passion: sweet orange

Orange Passion - Day Cream smells fresh and sweet, like orange. The scent comes from sweet orange peel oil, combined with tallow, MCT oil and vitamin E. A cheerful choice for the morning.

Velvet Lavender: soft lavender

Velvet Lavender - Day Cream has a gentle lavender scent and is made with four ingredients: tallow, MCT oil, lavender oil and vitamin E. Many people find lavender a calm scent and like to use this cream at the end of the day.

The Natural: no scent

The Natural - Sensitive Skin is fragrance-free and has just three ingredients: grass-fed tallow, MCT oil and vitamin E. No scent is added, so you only notice the mild natural scent of the ingredients. A calm choice for sensitive skin or for anyone who simply prefers to smell nothing.

Which scent to choose when

Still unsure? Think about the moment you use your cream most:

• Something soft and floral: Rose Blossom.
• Winding down in the evening: Velvet Lavender.
• No scent, or sensitive skin: The Natural.

You do not have to stick to one scent, by the way. Many people switch: a fresh scent during the day and a softer one in the evening.

Think about your surroundings too. You apply a face cream close to your nose, so choose a scent that genuinely makes you happy. If you share a bathroom or bedroom with someone who is sensitive to scents, a soft scent or The Natural may be the nicer choice. And torn between two scents? Then simply try them side by side.

Scent and sensitive skin

Fragrance and essential oils give a cream a lovely scent, but not every skin enjoys them. If you know your skin reacts quickly to scented products, The Natural is the better pick. And whichever cream you choose, do a patch test on a small area of skin first, for example on the inside of your wrist. Individual reactions vary.

Frequently asked questions

Do all the creams have the same base?

Yes, the base is always tallow, whipped into a light cream, with vitamin E. The Original also contains coconut oil, the other creams MCT oil. On top of that, what gives the scent differs per cream.

Is The Natural really scent-free?

No scent has been added. You only notice the mild natural scent of its three ingredients: grass-fed tallow, MCT oil and vitamin E.

Is the Lip Balm fragrance-free too?

No. The Sweet Orange Lip Balm contains sweet orange oil, so it has a light orange scent.
